Athletes prepare for the Special Olympics

In Whitefish news, the Whitefish City Council Planning Board has approved a revised development plan for the Big Mountain Village. Walt Chauner will be discussing the approval and what it means for the future of Big Mountain on the Big Mountain show. Ski Races and Hospital Openings

Like seeing skiers travel at 75 mph and launch as far as 100 feet? Check out the 59th Annual Doug & Rollie Smith Memorial Downhill races on the Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana. This race - the longest, continually held downhill race in the country - is known as one of the most challenging downhill courses in North America. It is going on through next Thursday.

Tomorrow Carol Blake and Carla Herrmann will be in the studio at 10:30 AM representing North Valley Hospital. The hospital has been under construction for the past several months and will be opening very soon.
