The Whitefish Winter Classic is an annual charity event that raises money to provide financial assistance for local Flathead Valley families whose children are in need of medical care elsewhere outside northwest Montana. Due to some cell phone complications, Jack Hanna was not able to phone in on Friday to update his status. (See the story here) Jack will be on the air TWICE this week, on Wednesday morning and then also on the regularly scheduled Friday show.

In Whitefish news, the Whitefish City Council Planning Board has approved a revised development plan for the Big Mountain Village. Walt Chauner will be discussing the approval and what it means for the future of Big Mountain on the Big Mountain show.
