Thursday at The Big Fish

A lot is happening on February 1st at the Big Fish!

Local musician John Dunningan's show, A View From Here, will start at 10 AM tomorrow morning. John will start off by interviewing Alpha Course leader Jeff Teeples. The Alpha Course is a ten week program that answers any and all questions one may have about Christianity. Then, at 10:30, John will be talking with Bad Larry's Band members Scott Moore and Jay Aken.

Shane Dowaliby will also have some guests during his show to talk about the 2007 Yeti Snowskate Jam. The Jam will take place on February 3rd in downtown Whitefish. That interview will start around 7 PM. Check out yetisnowskatejam.com for more information.

The Happenings at the Big Fish

Angie Meehan will be in the studio with Ross tomorrow starting at 10:30. She is with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and will be discussing the foundation and the upcoming benefit auction. Angie will also be discussing the upcoming Whitefish Winter Carnival.

The Big Fish LIVE at the Whitefish Winter Carnival


The Big Fish will be broadcasting LIVE from the Whitefish Winter Carnival on Saturday, February 3rd. The remote will be sponsored by Park Side Federal Credit Union of Whitefish. We will be broadcasting from the pre-parade lineup, the Penguin Plunge at Whitefish Lake, and the Yeti Snowskate Jam.

Ross Strauser will be announcing the parade from the balcony of the Great Northern Brewery.

A Night of Stars


As part of Whitefish Winter Carnival activities, the Dinner Dance "A Night of Stars," will be held on Friday, February 2nd at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. The evening will feature the big band stylings of Swinging on High, and guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie star.

Tickets are $35 per person, and are on sale until Monday, January 29th. Cocktails will begin at 7:30pm, with dinner to follow.

Boys and Girls Club Benefit Auction

Ross Strauser, owner of WhitefishRadio.com, is the master of ceremonies at tomorrow night's Benefit Auction for the Boys and Girls Club of Glacier County. It is going to be held at the Outlaw Inn in Kalispell, Montana. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is "a national non-profit youth organization that links together individual clubs throughout the United States with the aim of providing places to go, activities, health and fitness enhancement, and programs for young people.
