Montana's Flathead Valley has power again! A power pole caught fire at about 5:45 PM Sunday in Columbia Falls, affecting our hometown of Whitefish. The outage affected about 2,000 homes and businesses.The 2007 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Dinner and Auction Fundraiser was held on Saturday night, raising over $100,000 - that is the most of any other Elk Foundation in the United States. Ross Strauser, owner of the Big Fish, was the MC for the event, held at the Outlaw Inn Grand Ballroom in Kalisell, Montana.
Tomorrow Carol Blake and Carla Herrmann will be in the studio with Ross Strauser representing North Valley Hospital. The hospital has been under construction for the past several months and will be opening very soon.
