Across Turtle Island Celebrates One Year of Broadcasting and APCMA Nomination.

Jeny Running Brook Covill recently returned home from Winnipeg, Manitoba and the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards to celebrate her first year of broadcasting with Whitefish Radio as the host of Across Turtle Island. Across Turtle Island was nominated for Best Aboriginal Music Radio Program in the 2010 APCMA held on November 4th & 5th. To celebrate the nomination and Across Turtle Island's first year, Jeny recently broadcast a special extended anniversary program that is now available on demand. The show features interview with classical guitarist, Gabriel Ayala, as well as music by: Chippewa Travellers, Jerry Sereda, Blue Dog, Sayani, Tha Tribe, Yvonne St. Germaine, RainSong, Kelly Montijo Fink, Cheevers Toppah, Don Amero and Gabriel Ayala. Across Turtle Island is heard Sundays at 10:00 AM MST and anytime on demand.
