Across Turtle Island Nominated for Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Award
Whitefish, MT, September 2, 2010… WhitefishRadio.com / BigValleyRadio.com www.bigvalleyradio.com and Jeny Running Brook Covill are pleased to announce that Across Turtle Island has been nominated for an Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Award in the category of Best Aboriginal Music Radio Station/Program.
The International awards show will be broadcast live from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on Friday, November 5th on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Canada’s fourth largest National Broadcast Network.

Host Jeny Running Brook Covill is of Cherokee and Powhatan descent. Although Jeny was not raised within her Cherokee culture, she was enrolled with the Amonsoquath Tribe of Cherokee in 2001. Jeny co-founded All Nations Fellowship, A Native style Christian church gathering, where she is a pastor. She is also a volunteer chaplain at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, MT. Covill resides in Montana with her husband and two children.
